What if the famed 15th-century Italian explorer Christopher Columbus landed in Kolkata in 2016? How would he navigate his way back and most importantly, what would he discover in the 21st century? Christopher Columbus has just arrived into Kolkata, travelling over a time period of about 500 years. The man who’s known for his inventions, explorations and finding new shores, is lost in the lanes of Kolkata. He meets several people asking for the way back to his ship, his every attempt goes in vain until he comes across two friends Balahori Roy aka Roy & Saumik Gupta aka RJ Sam, who are out on a weekend trip. Roy and RJ Sam are two ambitious, hard working and hungry for success. At first, out of disbelief, they differ to agree what Columbus has to say, but later they bring him home, to find their own master key of success. Roy, though working in the corporate space, nourishes a writer inside. He cannot afford to leave his cushy job; neither can he leave his dream of becoming a writer. The only person he trusts in the office is Amrapali. Sam, is an RJ. He wants to cut a music album but has no funds. To do that he dates girls from rich families to find a prospective producer of the music album. He is smart in everything except finding love. He finds solace by sharing his rants with colleague and college friend, Sneha. Columbus starts helping them both with his anecdotes and teaches them how to find success within the existing means. While almost on the verge of attending success, Columbus goes missing again. Sam and Roy realise that they have to tackle all the problems on their own, and they need to explore by any means, as Columbus always preferred to. But, how will they do it without the guidance of Columbus, who had almost become a guiding star for them?
